Hannah: " Momma does Elmo have a pookie?"
Me: "Well I think that Elmo is a boy so he does not have a pookie.  Owen is a boy does he have a pookie?"
Hannah:"No momma, Owen has a... a... ah...um...*pe...peanut.  So Elmo has a peanut too? And dada has a peanut too???
Me: " Yes, yes Hannah they have peanuts"

*She knows the correct word for the male part but for some reason could not say it and it was so cute I did not want to correct it!

Sand Angel

Hannah and her friends found the big sand pile at the park!  And just before we left someone said snow angels and she made one!  After all there was no snow here pretty much all winter!

Out to pasture!

We went to Shelburne Farms a couple Sundays

ago for Milking the Cows Day.  It was one

of the most beautiful days off Adrian had had

in a while!

 The sheep greeted us on the way to the

cow barns!

 Hannah got to meet this cow named

Starlight.  And this the cow that Hannah

got to milk!

 In the baby cow barn they were feeding the cows

with the teat bucket.

a few hours earlier, they called her DHIA.

 Hello Cow!  Hannah kept saying that to all the cows!

 Hannah's other first for the day, a hay ride!  We got to

go out to the pastures where the cows were to watch

them come to the barns for milking!

And Owen slept through the entire trip!  Got

to love the Moby carrier!

Aunty Suanna Visits!

Aunty Suanna came to visit us a few
weeks back to meet Owen and see the
rest of us.

We went to Hannah's favorite park!  She likes to
to play in the sand box, aka dirt box.

She likes to take someone over to "schoola" and play.
She loves the new legos she got for a gift!  She carries
them in her backpack and has to take her backpack to
school!  So Suanna was the lucky one to go to school!

Hannah's 2nd Birthday

Trying to play catch up with the blog when

we get a chance to do so.  Two weeks to

the day after Owen was born Hannah had

her second birthday!  It was a fun and special

time to celebrate her while she was adjusting

to having her baby brother come into the family

and the some spotlight time.

 One of Hannah's favorite things to watch is

Peep and the Big Wide World.  Hannah helped

me make her birthday cake.  And the night before

her birthday Aunty Jen Jen and I decorated it

with the three main characters.  She did not

want us to cut the cake and asked where the 

characters went as they disappeared from the cake!

 She did not get messy, too messy, from eating

the cake!

 She even donned a birthday hat!

 The day of her birthday was also her

2 year old check up which meant shots...wish I

would have known that!  So she got her birthday

balloons right when we got home to make

her feel better!  It worked!  And she still has

her Hello Kitty balloon!

Her new cow!  She said that it said neigh neigh

but she was just trying to tease us, she knew the truth!

She loves to ride it and feed it!

It was a great day!!  We are truly blessed

with Hannah, her health, smiles, hugs and kisses!!!

Morning Smiles!

Owen is really starting to smile a lot!  It is not just the morning time but it does make up for a little lack of sleep!

Ohh Ohh Owen

We would like to introduce to you our newest

family member Owen Noah!

He was born on March 23 at 6:57 PM

He was 9 lbs. and 1 oz and 21.5 inches long!

Life has forever changed for us again!  We love

him so much!  And are so proud of this little guy!

Hannah is adjusting to her new role as Big Sister and

adjusting to hearing someone cry.  Everyday she

loves him more.  It melted our hearts when she went

up to him and whispered in his ear,

"I love you SO much baby brother!"

 

The start of a big step

Last night it was Hannah's first night without her "paci" (pronounced p haaa seee).  To ease her into this we gave her a paci present, a character from one of her favorite books - KNUFFLE Bunny.  After the exchange before bedtime reading, we put her in her crib...this was followed by 10 min of angry babbling and then quiet for the rest if the night.

Swimming Session 3!

Hannah is now in her 3rd session of

swimming lessons, 2nd for the year.  She loves

to tell you that she "fwims" and will gladly tell you

that she kicks and splashes.  She also likes to sing

the songs we do in class and loves to tell you she wears 

a "backpack" in class.  Adrian had the chance to come

to class with us while on vacation so he took some pictures

for us!

 There about 12 sets of parents and toddlers in her class

Hannah's First Library Trip

Adrian has been on vacation this week 

and we stayed at home, which has been a blessing

 all around!  So we have been trying to think of things

to do outside the house together.  We had never

taken her to the library and thought it was long overdue

as we are sick of reading the same books

over and over again!  She was a bit overwhelmed

with all the books.  She found some toys

so she went to them, until I could wrangle her back

in to help me find books.  We will have to try this 

again and more frequently!

Out in the cold!

It has been an whirlwind of weather

here, as it has been everywhere.  The other night

before making dinner Adrian and I decided to walk 

to the grocery store near by.  Mind you it was only

17 degrees out!  So we got bundled up!  It reminded me

 of the movie Christmas Story, and Ralphy's little brother!

She did really good she walking over half

way too and from the store!  It was just a bit slow 

moving!

Hannah likes to go out everyday!  She does not leave to house without her Monkey hat and black boots!  Here she is reading her Noah book to me!

First Pic-toos of 2012

Hannah likes to sit on our lap while we are

at the computer.  She always asks us to see

pic-toos (aka pictures to everyone else)  As I am typing

this she is upset because I am not putting her on my lap

to look at pic-toos.

Adrian put her hat on and she got her purse 

and put somethings in her grocery cart.  Then she

said good bye and told us she was going to go to

Coco's house (aka Uncle Cory).  She walked all the way

to the stairs and then decided that she had gone.

I asked her what she did there and she told me she got

a hug and kiss from Coco and they talked.
