Then and Now

She still plays with this although she really does

not sit in it anymore.  We thought we would get one

last picture before it is retire down to the basement today!

What a difference a year an a couple months is!

Good Morning

Just testing a post from my phone.

Da Da DA DA DA

Melissa and I took our daughters

for a walk along the lake to North Beach a couple

of days ago.  And there is a nice playground for the

girls to play together.  And they seemed

to really enjoy themselves!  Cannot wait to go back to it again!

 Life is pretty good on the swing too!

 I can hear her scream, just by looking at this one!

 Then they stumbled upon the merry-go-round and

it does not go round!  It has 4 huge springs under it instead,

that was a good idea for them!

 The mini rock climbing wall, still too big for them!

But they had fun putting wood chips on it and that was

just as satisfying!

So here is the reason for the title!  Every time Hannah

Picking

Hannah loves to eat blueberries.  So my friend Melissa

and I took our girls out to the fields to get some fresh

ones!  It was way hot!!!  I thought it was going to be cooler

so we both wore pants, big mistake!  Hannah and her friend

had a good time, they sat on the ground and ate 

blueberries out of the bucket.  And Hannah replaced

them with green berries.

 Her picking skills at work, but someone needs to tell

her that we do not eat leaves!

 She did have fun, this was the end and she knew it!

Hard to tell but her head was SO sweaty from wearing her

hat!  She was a trooper!  And I had to show her what her

momma's first ever "real" job was!

Parking it!

This summer Hannah and I are parking it every

chance we get!  We go to a local park, usually in the

AM to beat the afternoon heat and spend up to

a couple hours.  And on good days she also has

some of her friends that come and meet us there!  She

really loves going there and having a bit of freedom to do

as she pleases and roams around everywhere!  (I am right
by her so she never wanders off.)

The other day she even started picking up

wood chips and pine needles.  Yeah that is a normal

thing to do but since she understands the trash can

she started to pick up a bunch and wanted me to 

pick her up so she could throw them away!  We are watching

the trash can at home now to make sure she does not

throw other things away she is not supposed to, and she has!

She also has thrown her diaper and diaper cover in the

toilet this past week as well!

 For awhile Hannah did not like to go on the swing,

but now she is loving it!  She loves it so much that one

day she had to try out all the swings! 

 Her other activity she likes is crawling through 

the tunnel on one of the swing sets!  She has a hard time

getting out once she gets to the other side but she really

loves it!  Here she is with her friend Katie and my friend

Melissa.

" Hello!  I am trying to get out can you please put that

camera down and get me out?!"

Another day at the park with Alex and Katie!  It is

pretty hard to get them to all look one direction!

Random Hannah

Here are some recent Hannah experiences...

 Hannah loves to empty the basket in our bedroom

that holds some of her toys.  So Adrian took her for a 

ride in the basket after she emptied it out.

 I like to take Hannah for walks to the various parks

near our house.  She loves to play with the wood chips

almost more than playing on the toys!

 And getting her hands dirty!

 Giving her good friend Piper a birthday hug!  She loves

playing with Piper, it is the first friend she has been able 

to say her name.  She calls her Pipe-Pa, it is very sweet!

 A Father's day walk with Uncle E and baby Maia, it

was Uncle E's first Father's day.  And Hannah calls Maia, My-My.

 We went for a drive one Sunday to check out the flooding,

to see if things were getting better.  And we stopped at an 

apple orchard that also has animals.  The latest animals

they have acquired are Peacocks!

We took care of Hannah's favorite puppy Porter over

night last week.  And Hannah loved giving him kisses

and hugs and laying down with him on is bed.
