Rolling

Hannah and I are enjoying going to play group
once a week.  It meets just up the road from us on
Wednesdays.  It has been nice to get out to talk to
other parents and have Hannah see she is not the
only baby out there!  She is adjusting to the other kids
but she is still not too sure about them.  The age group
is birth to mobile babies and it meets during the school
year.  I am hoping that we will be able to stay there
until the end of the school year.  And at this
rate I think she will be able to stay because at
play group she plays with a toy here and there,
always makes sure I am sitting right behind her and
watches everyone else.  She sits for the whole two hours
which is good for her and also helps her take a bit
longer nap on those days

We went for a walk yesterday morning with a couple
moms, babies and their dogs from playgroup.
Our post walk picture.  We went to Indian Brook and
walked through the woods.
Hannah and Momma after the walk.  It was hailing
but you cannot really see it in the picture.

And to end the post Hannah has made a move this week!
She has rolled from her tummy to her back since she
was about 4 months old.  And this week she finally
made the move to roll from back to tummy!  It was very exciting!
And now she almost does this like a pro!  We
were so proud of her!

This video is her rolling from back to front!

This video is rolling completely all around!

Autumn with Hannah

We decided to take a drive to Stowe two
weekends ago on Adrian's day off from work
that week.  We made the mistake of going "leaf
peeping" on a touristy weekend in VT.  The
traffic was not the best of times
but our walk and the beautiful views made
up for it in the end!

Hannah enjoyed our walk as well!  She loves
to watch things move outside and loves the wind
to blow in her wispy hair!  I think that she could
watch the leaves and branches move for
quite a long time if she could!

Views of Stowe Mountain and Mt Mansfield
Camels Hump on our drive to Stowe

On our walk on the bike path in Stowe
A little pit stop
Adrian and Hannah watching the farmers
market wrapping up
Hannah LOVES tags on her toys and she really
loves this bird, its tags and feet!
Nice view on our drive home as we sat in traffic!
Hannah and I are joining a new play group and
this is the first outing we did with them.  We went
to Lang Farm and went on a hayride and picked
out a pumpkin.  Ours is in there some where...
Our pumpkin, look at Hannah's excitement!
My high school has a "magazine" that they
put out a few times a year.  And they send tee shirts
when you announce your baby's birth in it.
This is the tee shirt they send out, it says
"Maroon Platoon" to spread school
spirit.
I took about 30 pictures of her in this shirt
and one of these two will be in the magazine,
maybe the next one who knows!

And finally a Hannah video.  It is from our walk in
Stowe.  Adrian really can get her going sometime!

Half Birthday and Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Yesterday was Hannah's Half Birthday!
Time seems to be flying by!  It is also special
because her half birthday is a couple days after her
Daddy's birthday!  So Happy Birthday to the
greatest Daddy!  We love you Adrian!

Today she had her 6 month check up!  She is
finally on the chart for height!  She is 27.5" long,
which puts her in the 95th percentile for height.
She weighs 18 lbs 4 oz which also drops her in the
weight to 90th percentile!  It was one of the toughest
visits that she has had!  She had 4 shots today and
I have never seen her cry so hard!  Since she knows
she can scream now she screamed and cried all at
once!  You can hear things from the other rooms
in the office, well I should say you can hear
other kids crying and screaming, and not you can
hear her as well!  It took
her the longest time to calm her down this time.
But it is for her health and she will forget about,
well I hope!

We took Hannah for apple picking at South
Hero for her first trip.  There are two apple
orchards that we like to go to, Hacketts and
Allenholm.  Allenholm has apples but also has
a mini petting zoo.  This was the first time that Hannah
saw some of these animals.  It is exciting to see because
she is understand that animals exist and are
not just the stuffed kind!  So cute!
She did not have much interest in the donkey,
a bit timid at the first animal.
She liked the horse and wanted to touch him.
The second donkey she liked more.
She had no desire to touch the goat
but the goat felt the same, it did
not stand up to come and say hi.
Showing off her hat her momma made for her!
We have saved some toys so that we can introduce new
ones to her so she does not get bored
too easily.  Here is her toy from Auntie Brenda!
It is almost as tall as she is when she sits!
The rest are just some fun pictures of Hannah!

Turn up your volume on this video!  We would not
want you to miss this one!  You should all enjoy the sounds
of Hannah as we do!
