First Thanksgving

It has been awhile since we have posted,
life just happens and we have been busy!
Hannah and I have been going to play group and
we have have been walking and playing with Piper
and her momma Verena.  This is one of the cold
morning walks we went on near the lake.  She
fell asleep in the car and woke up and had to get
all this gear on!  She now tries taking off things that
she does not like to wear.  So she always tries to take off
her sunglasses and hats!  You can see her excitement right
here!  The glasses were of shortly after the picture!
A new outfit for Hannah!  Our niece Clara should
recognize the fabric!
By the look on both faces can you tell what football
team we are watching?  I will give you a clue
it is on Adrian's shirt!  It was just so cute
because Hannah does not just hang out with us like this
and she was just chillin' with Dada.
Hannah sits in her exersaucer at least once a day.
So she know the toys on it very well and they are played
with pretty hard!  As you can see she has a toy in her
hand that should be in the hole in the front bottom
center of this picture!  It is one of her favorite toys on the
chair!  And now after a bit she can pull it out!  She
is one strong cookie!
Another new outfit, same pattern as the
picture from above.  And our niece Ella
should recognize the fabric from this one!
I love leftover fabric!
We took care of Porter for the weekend a bit ago.
Hannah liked it and I think Porter did too, although
he kept his distance at times.
She did not know where to look at me or Porter!
We were trying to get her to pet him but to do it nicely.
But she is pulling it in this picture.

We went for a walk on the causeway.
Here is Hannah with her new hat!
The view from the causeway, part Vermont and
part New York!
It was quite chilly and the sun was setting
so we had to turn back!
Saturday we did an early thanksgiving!  We went to
Karon and Dave's house for a fabulous meal!  This is
Karon's mom, Marcia.  Marcia and Dave (her husband),
got Hannah two great gifts!  Here they are opening it together!
She liked opening the gift!  Cannot wait for her at
Christmas!
Karon has a plate and fork and spoon for Hannah
when she is over at their house!  Marcia was feeding
Hannah, I think the first person outside of Adrian and
I to feed her.  She did great and ate way more than ever
before!
She finished off with a bottle!
The spread before we dug in!
Dave on the right with his co-worker from India, Steven

Everyone digging in!
Hannah eating her first thanksgiving foods!
She ate mashed potatoes and turkey!
For the first time Hannah fell asleep at
the dinner table.
Hannah and Karon!
Hannah chomping on her first "designer spoon".
Hannah and I have a Sunday tradition already!
We look at the Sunday paper ads together!
Well I look and she rips them up!
Hannah ready for vacation, hope I did not forget anything!

First

Hannah is entering into the world of
teeth!  Many people have been telling me that
they thought she was teething and I concurred with them!
And now it is a fact!  Hannah has a tooth on her
bottom left and as of today the bottom right
tooth is breaking through as well!  This explains
why her sleeping has been erratic at best and she
is not sleeping through the night like she can!
And why everything else is going on,  I will
not bore you with all the details!

Adrian was trying to keep Hannah entertained and
occupied the other day with her toys.  He had
done this before when she still sat in her swing.  She loves
it just the same as then!

Hannah has also decided that when she lays down,
which is not often or for very long, that she likes
to play with and chew on her toes.  This may change
now that she has a tooth or two!
Hannah and I have made some friends at play group.  This
past week we had Halloween day for the babies, well
it was more for the parents!  This is Hannah's new friend
Piper!  Hannah is wearing her Kimono she got from
Miho and Maho in Japan.  And I made her some
"kimono" booties.  It was in the 70's this day so it
was good we went with plan B for her costume.
Plan A costume is still to come!
Hannah looking very somber and sick of it!  Just wait!
This is the only smile that I got out of her during the
picture process!  I clearly put her on the couch WAY too soon!
As you can tell she was not too thrilled with me!
There was a little boy who was dressed in a Japanese
outfit as well.  They tried to hold hands...
But again she was very upset and the little boy was quite
concerned about her!
We went for a walk with Piper and her mother, Verena and
our other new friends, Cleveland, Lucie and their mom Emily.
Verena took us to a spot we had not been and it was beautiful!
The only problem was the causeway between "mainland" VT
and the Islands was very wind and chilly so we did not make it all
the way across.  Here Hannah is trying out sunglasses,  she
did okay with them but kept trying to take them off!
 The view from the causeway
 One island in Lake Champlain
A few portraits of Hannah, more Momma playing with
the camera

Hannah on Halloween!  It first trick or treating!
This was the costume plan A, a frog from Aunt Suanna
and Uncle Nate!
At Auntie Karon and Uncle Dave's house!
Auntie Karon having Hannah pick out her candy!  First
time and she knew what she wanted!  Too bad she
cannot eat it!
 She really like the packaging!
Then Auntie Karon said we needed to go out and
trick or treat in her neighborhood, so she gave Hannah a bag!
And she held on tight to it, and the candy!
The two pieces of candy she picked out!
Ready to go!  She loved the wind blowing on her!
Sitting out front at Karon and Dave's house!
Hannah had special interest in Porter last night!
He was not too sure about her though...
 He did kiss her face!
And after some coaxing he laid down next to her!
