Meeting Uncle Terrence and Aunty Jennie

Today Uncle Terrence and Auntie Jennie
arrived for the weekend!  Here is day one
of their weekend!
Hannah received this gift at a shower
before she was born.  We have just started
to introduce toys to her and she seems to
love this one.  We are not sure if it is because of
the noise of the cellophane that is in between
the fabric or the fish.  But it is the first time that
she reached out towards something.  She did not grab it
but it looked like she was reaching out towards it.

She was taking a tiny cat nap.
Hannah in her outfit from Auntie Trisha!
Wish I had a better picture of it fitting her
properly!  But it fits her today maybe not tomorrow
she seems to be growing so fast!
She was sleeping so funny today in Adrian's arms!
She was curling her back like she was stretching, but
she was sleeping!  So CUTE!

Just Hannah

Here are some most recent pictures
of Hannah and some of my favorites!
She is getting so big right in front of
our eyes!

Smiles are coming a bit easier, but
we still need to work for them.
She also likes to stick her tongue out a lot too.

All smiles!
Her silencer in times of need!
Peacefully sleeping on Daddy's a lap
Her sweet hands, love those dimples!
Her first time in her crib!  Can you see her
amongst her toys?
A picture for MarMar in a outfit she received
from the grandparents!
The first time that she held on to
something other than our fingers!
It did not last long but she did it!

Mother's Day/Hannah's Day Gift

  Adrian bought Hannah and
I a bouncy seat for our mother's day/Hannah's
day gift.  It is the gift of hopefully rest and
fun for Hannah.
And a gift for Momma, so
I will be able to shower and put her
down to get a few things done around
the house, that is when I have to put her down.

She seems to like it, pretty well.  At
least she can catch a bit of sleep in it.

Here is the side view.  It has a wood frame
and base.  The base and seating part seperate
so that is makes it easier to take with you
when you go away.  It also goes from
laying down to a seated position and has a
seat belt to hold her in.

I added a blanket so that she does not
move about too much which she is sleeping.
She is still moving her arms around quite a bit
while she is sleeping, so when that happens
she hits the side of the seat and wakes up
very easily.

She took her first nap in it this morning
and even gave her Momma a smile when she
woke up!  So today we might work on her
being okay in the seat when she is
awake or sleeping!  She is sleeping
in it right now so I better go and get something
done around the house quickly!!

Beautiful Weekend

This past weekend my sister
Suanna came up to visit us.
We were very excited to have her
visit and get to meet Hannah!  She stayed
with me while Adrian was away at a conference
in New Orleans.  We missed him a lot!
Aunt Suanna getting the hang of the different
ways Hannah likes to be held.  It
gets tricky sometimes. . .
just when you think that you have the
hang of it then she wants to stretch like
this on you!  You just always need
to be prepared for anything!
A little cuddle time with Hannah,
it is so sweet!
We went to the Shelburne
Museum on the opening day.  They had a
gardening and Lilac day.
The barn at the entrance to the
museum.  This place is a must see when visiting
Vermont in the spring and summer!
There was a circus theme also
going on that day.  They had a carousel
apart in the round barn as you walked in.  Thought
it was appropriate to take a photo of the
tiger, for our little tiger, Hannah!
Hannah had it easy she slept
most of the day away in the carrier!
The Ticonderoga ferry that is dry docked.
Eating lunch part way through the day.
Aunt Suanna is a fantastic photographer!!!  It
maybe her hobby but if she every needed another
profession this would have to be it.
Hannah coming up for a burp, she makes
the most sweetest faces when she is supposed
to be burping!
After burping she wanted to lay back and look
up at the trees.
There was a nice breeze and she just wanted
to sit there for awhile.  I loved being able to watch
her, and share a first with her!
The Lilacs!
There were different tables set up with
activities.  We stopped by the table that was
giving away the Lilac seedlings.
One of Hannah's many faces!
Hannah sleeping in Aunt Suanna's arms!
Hannah's starting to hold her head by
herself.  She is showing off for Aunt
Suanna at this point.
Aunt Suanna and Hannah playing together.
Hannah smiling for her Momma!
Hannah is starting to make "chatter" with us.
She is also starting to like to stay in her swing
while she is awake, it usually only lasts for about 10
minutes.  She is also starting to talk to her
bears that are on her swing.
More sweet shots from Aunt Suanna!

back home!  We miss her!

Photo Shoot

Since we were not in MI for
the Tulips this May, Karon and I
decided to find some Tulips here and
do a photo shoot with Hannah.  Karon and
Dave got Hannah a new outfit and I bought her
a jean jacket, and this is what she is modeling in.
We found some Tulips on the campus green at
UVM.

Momma and Hannah
Porter came along on the walk with us to UVM.
He really loves Hannah and is there to protect and
clean her.
