First vacation done!

So this may be a long post but it was a big deal to
have a first vacation!  It had many firsts and trials
but it was great to be on vacation with Adrian
and Hannah.  Hannah's "firsts" will have some
pictures along the way but here are a few:
first time in a highchair at at restaurant,
first time in a shopping cart seat,
first time out of the US, if Canada counts,
first time at Aunt Jen's apartment,
first time at Mar Mar and Gumpa's house,
first time at Aunt Lise and Uncle Cory's house,
first time in a snowsuit with a smile!
And the list goes on but I will not bore you anymore!
Oh but the cutest one!  Her first time singing
in church!  She kept singing as the congregation had stopped.
Now she will sing and harmonize with us when we
sing with her!
The most important someone not to forget!
But before we go we must wrap some gifts!  This
is Hannah's first time wrapping a gift and she LOVED it!
She loved the curling ribbon and the tape dispenser, guess
we know she is my child!  And the lucky persons to receive
this gift are Aunt Suanna and Uncle Nate!  Thanks for the
help Aunt Karon!
Also before we leave we had to have thanksgiving
dinner!  Adrian had to work overnight at the hospital so
I invited over Uncle E and Auntie Zaz!  We had our first
trip to the hospital to visit Dada!  Then we came back to
the house and had a chicken curry dinner!  Here they
are teaching her kicks!
 And another kick!

Our trip to MI started the morning after Thanksgiving!
We had our first day of travels that ended us with 7+
hours driving to Auntie Jen's house!  It was a rough ride
for Hannah's first long car ride!  But we got through it...
And look at that smile as she is surrounded by Auntie
Jen's toys!!
Leaning in for a kiss for the sheep!
Hannah, you cannot grab Auntie Jen's glasses!
But you can chew on your pacifier....sigh...
The next morning we went for breakfast before we
left to MI.  This is the first time that Hannah sat in
a highchair at a restaurant!  She did great!
After another 5 hours in the car we finally arrived!
Hannah did great this car ride!  We understood how long she
could sit and how long she needed to be out of the
car!  And as soon as we arrived we tried to get
Hannah to eat, but it did not work as she met her
Uncle Cory, Aunt Lise and cousins Clara, Caleb
and Lydia!
They were SOOOO excited to meet her and she
was overwhelmed and excited too!
After a little bit of food the playing began!
She was not sure what to do with all this attention!
We have a tree of thumb prints for when people meet
Hannah.  Here it is in action!  I just wish I had not
forgotten people and to bring it everywhere we went!
We could not wait for Christmas so we had Mar Mar
and Gumpa open gifts, only because she had to open
one from them...
Rocking with Mar Mar, she is supposed to be going
to sleep, does not look like it is working though!
Hannah LOVES to stand!  And Lydia LOVES
to play with her!!!
Hannah opening a gift from her Uncle and Aunt and
her cousins!  They could not wait for her to open a gift either!
 Lise, Clara and Adrian
The gift!  A giraffe named Sophie!  She loves
to chew on it!
Clara reading to us about Sophie
 Lydia showing Hannah toys!
Hannah did not sit well for most people while we were
in MI, okay not for anyone really.  But she did pretty well
with Uncle Cory!
Lydia trying to read a book to Hannah
Caleb was not feeling well so Uncle Adrian
went to hang out with him!
 Hannah chewing away on Sophie!
Hannah was so excited to open another present!
She loved the paper and the curling ribbon!
It took awhile to get it open and a bit of help...
But she got it open and here it is!
Dada spending time with Hannah!  So sweet!
Dada rocking Hannah to sleep, so peaceful!
We had to have our car worked on while we were home.
So while it was getting attended to in GR at the dealership
we got to see our friends Auntie Trisha and her
daughter Leah and dad, Steve!  Leah seemed to be in love!
It was sweet to hear her say so sweetly, "oh momma,
baby Hannah".
 "See Momma, baby Hannah".
 So sweetly holding hands!
Not Hannah's first time in Target or her last but it
is her first time in the cart without her car seat!
First time at Uncle Cory and Aunt Lise's house!
Keeping her eyes out for Momma to come and help her!
 Playing again!
 Clara and Hannah
Do you see what I see?  Adrian found that I had not
put Hannah's diaper on so well last time I had changed her!
And she will probably not like me too well one day for this!
We are quite sure we have a musician on our hands.
She plays the piano a bit and she loves to sing!  And
she loves to listen to music too!
Dada always gets sweet photos of Hannah!
Before the goodbyes a good picture of Hannah
with the kids!
Goodbyes to Mar Mar and Gumpa
On our way out of town we stopped for a few minutes
at Auntie Mel's house!
Cheesing it up for the camera, Kylie and Hannah
On our journey home we stopped overnight at Auntie
Jen's place again.  Hannah was so worn out from her
long day that, at 10 Adrian put her in my lap and she
fell right to sleep!
And we ate breakfast with Auntie Jen again
on our way out of town!

When we got home I was showing Hannah a toy
her Lolo and Lola gave to her.  And her
reaction to what it did was priceless!

We had a great time at home seeing family and friends.
My dad is today 2 weeks out of surgery on his back and
is improving daily.  He is still experiencing pain and having
troubles sleeping at night.  Please continue to pray
for his recovery, relief from pain and patients
to get through the recovery!  Thank you!!!
