Happy Momma's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! 

I am a bit late on the posting but 

that is just how things go around here!

So here are a few new pictures of the bundle!

Hannah is getting bigger everyday!

I was trying to get her to lay down and

get a shot when she was stretched out.  But

she knows when I am taking a picture of her and

she quickly moves when I do not want her to!

Here is our mother's day picture together. 

I had made her a dress a week ago and it

was a great day for her to wear it.  Unfortunately it

snowed here on Sunday so she had to wear a sweater

and some pants to stay warm!

She was still mistaken for a boy at church

by all the old ladies even in a dress!  

She is so cute!

Happy 1 Month

Today Hannah turns one month

old today!  Wow this month has flown

by so quickly!  And she has changed and 

grown so much!  She is so amazing and

we are so blessed to have her in our lives!

So happy one month of life Hannah, we are so

privileged to have you in our lives and to be

your parents!  We love you!!!

So sweet!  Hannah has started to take a pacifier

now when she is a bit crabby.  So yesterday she took 

the pacifier and let Adrian have her thumb!

Three things I learned about babies

There are three things I learned about
babies from three wise men!
These techniques help the baby when
they need to go to sleep and need encouragement
to get there! 

The first I learned from my brother Cory.
This does not only work for sleep but
calming the baby as well, simply insert
parents finger into baby's mouth.

The second one comes from our bro-in-law
Nate.  By taking your thumb or favorite finger
starting at the top of the forehead gently
drag it down to the tip of the nose, repeatedly. 
I have also seen him do this from the back of the head
all the way to the tip of the nose.  I have
added into this technique softly rubbing
the forehead in a circular motion, when
more is needed.

The third comes from Adrian, who has calming Hannah
down to a science and maybe
this only works for her.  But he has a technique
of putting her on one arm and lifting her up
and down with the support of his other arm.

Aunty Jenny came to visit and meet Hannah!

This was the initiation of Jenny with Hannah.
Here she made a special package in her
pants for Jenny.  And the shock of oh my
that came from her!

sometimes it does take 3 people to clean
that little one!  One to entertain, one to clean
and one to hose her off to keep her warm!

NO Hannah was not for dinner, but she just looks
so tasty!

Hannah is starting to lift her head, and here
she seems pretty happy about it!

We had dinner at Aunt Karon and Uncle Dave's
house the other night.  And this was the first meeting
of Hannah and Porter.  Porter was happy
to meet her and licked her feet.  And he followed
Karon around while she was carrying Hannah, it was sweet!

Hannah decided right when it was time for
me to eat dinner, that she wanted to
eat.  And Porter decided he needed
to kiss the back of her head.

As the night when on Porter was
less interested in Hannah and acted a bit
shy around her.

So I have fallen behind in posting

pictures everyday!  So here are a 

few pictures to make up.

Some days it is like she understands

everything that I talk to her about.

A couple days ago Adrian got to feed

her for the first time with a bottle.  Hate to admit

it but it was hard watch.  And Adrian

enjoyed this special time with Hannah, it was

very sweet.

Today April 27th it is snowing, it has

snowed all day and has not stopped yet!

This photo was taken before 10 AM

there is more on the ground now, I just do not

want to get too depressed by looking outside

and taking another photo!

Hannah received a super

cute outfit from her Aunt Trisha.

And yesterday seemed like the best

day to try it out, lucky for her

she has the same outfit in a couple

different sizes!

If sushi were this cute I think everyone

would be eating it!

Lolo and Lola bought sun glasses

for Miss Hannah!  Now she is stylin' 

and even made a pose for the camera.

Okay she was not posing she is actually

sleeping and had no idea what was going on!

Thursday

Not much happened around

the house today.  Hannah and I hung out

with Lola and Lolo and Daddy was at work.

The excitement for the day was that I got 

Hannah to sleep in the cradle.  The 

funny thing is that it only took

6 blankets around her, 2 blankets

underneath her and 2 blankets around her!

And I took a few pictures of her feet today

I just could not resist while she

was laying down!  Now

we are hoping for a good night

sleep tonight!
