Hannah has not quite got the concept of 

kissing on the mouth, or has she?  Everytime

we give her kisses on the lips she proceeds to

open her mouth and give us her tongue, not quite

sure where she got that from!

Hannah had her first big move this week!  She

rolled over from her tummy to her back, in just

about a minute! I had a feeling it was

going to happen so I quick got the camera so Adrian

would not miss out.  Sorry for the bad

camera moves but I could not start over

as she could not start her first time over!

16 Weeks and counting!

Today Hannah is 16 weeks or 4 months old!
We went out for lunch today with a
friend Anna.  And when we got back
we had to take a 4 month picture.

The second video was taken today of Hannah
talking to me on the "happy table".  The "happy
table" is the changing table, she seems to
do her best talking when she is there and
some great smiles as well!

15 weeks and 5 days

It is hard to believe that Hannah will
be 4 months on Tuesday!  She seems to be
changing and learning new things so fast!  And
she is growing up way too fast.
Here are a few things that we have seen in
the last week or two:
 She definitely knows where her food comes from.
She is aware totally now that I am the food source.
And knows exactly where "that" is on me at all times! 

Which leads to the next area of food.  A couple days
ago she noticed for the first time that I had picked up
a glass, brought it too my mouth and set it down again.
I was drinking coffee at the time and she thought she
would like to try to put both hands on it as if to hold it
and take a peak inside.  She did this until I stopped drinking.

The next day she was sitting on my lap while
I was eating pizza.  She again watched me put
the food to my mouth and set the food down.  This time
she had to have her hand on the plate and kept getting
her hand closer and closer to the food.  She again
watched me until the food was gone.  She only
seems to be watching the eating and drinking when
she is on my lap or at the same level as I am.

I try to play with Hannah several times during
the day when she is lying on the floor playing
with her toys.  And we try to get in some good
tummy time.  I placed her on her right side and she
rolled to her back.  I put her on the her left side and she
rolled to the front.  And again today she rolled
to her front from her left side.

We have a habit of pinching her sweet round

cheeks, almost called them small but we know 

they are pleasantly plump!  And now she seems to

be doing the same to us, well not just our cheeks

but out chins, noses, pulling off the glasses

and poking our eyes.

She was sitting on our lap the other day
and the TV was on.  Someone was smiling
and laughing on TV and she noticed it and
did the same thing.  I had noticed this before when
she had laughed at the TV but this time
I realized why she was doing it!

She also had been taking things when we
offer them to her.  It was first us coaxing them
in her fist and now she just reaches out
and takes them from us.  She has also been
putting the things she takes from us and puts
them in her mouth.  She is getting better at it and
is sometimes getting toys (etc.) in her mouth on
the first try!

 We are trying to get her to do things

with both hands at the same time.  And

she seems to be okay with holding her feet

at the same time.

She is realizing that they are attached 

to her body, she is starting to look at them

from time to time.

time to cuddle with her.

We are enjoying every single minute

with her!  In fact she had another first tonight!

We put her down not totally asleep and just put

one hand on her stomach and not looking

directly into her eyes and she fell asleep!

Granted she had been sound asleep before this

but needed to be wrapped in her blanket and that

woke her up, but she did it!  Hope this

happens more often!

Trying to get better at posting

pictures and things sooner and more

often, it all depends on Hannah and her

ever changing schedule!  We had a great weekend

together!  Adrian had Saturday and most of 

Sunday off from work, what a blessing!

We "celebrated" my birthday a bit early

on Sunday.  It is so great having Adrian

around!!

3 months old and its catch up time!

A lot has gone on since the last post!

Adrian's parents have gone back to Penang.

They had been here for more then half of Hannah's

life!  And they were able to witness first

hand the many changes she has gone through

so far! 

Adrian is back to his "normal" hours of work

again.  It was a super great year with Adrian

not having to work the hours.  On the other

hand Adrian is officially more than half way

done with his residency, well half way plus a week. 

We were blessed to have Hannah while he

was in his research year!

Hannah likes to stand up when she is

sitting with Adrian.  And it was a good

shot to see how long she is getting!

we measured her this past week and she is 

about 26.5 inches long at age 13 weeks!

Hannah enjoys listening to music.  She is 

listening to music with her daddy through

his new phone.  She likes to watch the phone!

The night before Lola and Lolo left.

The first time that Hannah slept

in her crib, it was a nap but a start! 

Next step will be to move from the cradle

at night to the crib, I am just not ready for that yet!

During the July 4th weekend we ate

lunch at Dave and Karon's house.  Hannah

fell asleep on Aunt Karon's shoulder, I think

it was one of the few times that she has done that.

She just looks so uncomfortable as her body

is in a c shape but she conked out so fast.  

Karon could not stop laughing because

she was making such a sound while she slept.

Come to see she was sucking on her hand, and pushing

her upper lip into her nose, so she started snoring!  It was

just so cute!

knuckle into her pacifier and popped it out

of her mouth.  She just laid there and looked

at it as though she did not know what just happened.

Although at this angle she does not look 

so mini!

The first time that she took the rattle

from me and held onto it for quite a long time,

at least 10 minutes.  Later on after this picture she

also put it in her mouth!  The next night she held onto 

it for around 30 minutes and again putting it into

her mouth a few times.  She is learning something new

everyday, it is so great!

Adrian taught her how to do this, it is the first

thing that Hannah has done to imitate us.  It happened

a couple weeks ago now but I have now just been

able to upload videos!  So hopefully more to come!

Hopefully I will get more pictures soon,

I have been taking pictures and videos with

my phone, I will try to grab for the camera instead!
